Policies and standards.

A credential is only worth what its rules are worth — and rules nobody can read are worth nothing. These are the standards a GHCA assessment is run under and a GHCA result is decided by, published in full, before you register rather than after something goes wrong. They are grouped by who they bind, so start with the section that describes you.

Why some documents appear twice

A standard is listed under every audience it actually binds. The Assessment Integrity Standard governs the candidate sitting an examination and the provider delivering it, so it appears under both — filing it under one would hide it from someone it applies to.

Status of these documents

GHCA’s policy set is a controlled document set, and each document here carries its GHCA document code. The set is in the process of formal Board adoption: these are the rules GHCA operates by today and the rules you will be held to, published in full, but a document only states that it is formally in force once it carries an effective date.

Where a standard describes a capability that is not yet running — remote proctoring is the live example — the page says so at the top rather than letting you assume it applies to you.
